An album of bass-heavy '70s-inspired warped disco and prog rock from Salon de la Guerre, the musical act of writer Eric R. Rasmussen.
Salon de la Guerre's new album further demonstrates composer Eric R. Rasmussen's stubborn dedication to defying genre. Following up on a set of acoustic guitar songs, Rasmussen turns back to electronic music with a vengeance on "All Else Dross," his 16th album. Imagine that the Happy Mondays and Joy Division, in attempt to avoid a head-on collision, both swerve and end up running into Steely Dan. (No musicians were injured in this metaphor.) All tracks written, performed and produced by Eric Randolph Rasmussen at his home studio in New York City. Copyright, 2017.
